For part two, we are focusing on the ins and outs of wedding venues. Many people want to find the perfect place for their dream day, so we are here to help make this happen for you! Read on to find out our top tips.

Think Logically

Our first tip may seem obvious, but you will be surprised how being caught up in the world of wedding planning can skew your mindset! Stay grounded and think logically. This way, you will be able to make the smartest decisions and book a venue that you love.

Consider your wedding budget and evaluate how much of it you would like to dedicate to the venue. If you can splurge, then no problem! However, if you need to be strict with price, it is best to ask yourself if an expensive venue is the most important aspect of your wedding day.

Furthermore, thinking logically means selecting a venue that makes sense in terms of location. Pick somewhere that you know all of your guests will be able to travel to! It would be a shame to miss out on making memories with your loved ones simply because your venue is too far away or difficult to access.

  1. Dream a Little!

Despite the logistics of selecting a venue, it is okay to dream a little when picking where to get married! This is your big day, so you deserve to get what you have always wanted. Seek out a venue that you know you will love. There is no reason to get married somewhere you do not like! Bear in mind photo opportunities and how you would like your ceremony and/or reception to be set up so that the location can look fabulous for you and your partner.

  1. Visit in Person

If possible, make sure to visit a venue you are interested in as soon as you can. By doing this, you will prevent any questions from lingering in your mind, and you can get a realistic idea of what the location is like.

Why not make an event of each visit? Invite your bridal party along to wander around a beautiful venue and chat about your dream plans for your wedding. It will be a great bonding experience, and you can get advice from friends and family members if you are unsure about anything.

  1. Book, book, book!

It is key to make your booking as soon as you can. Because so many couples begin planning their weddings far in advance, many venues can be unavailable for the foreseeable future. Enquire ASAP and get your wedding slot secured so that you can avoid disappointment!
